Blackboard and Weblearn

Weblearn is the institutional Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) based on Blackboard Learn. It provides access to all Blackboard tools and online assessment options and access to the additional tools listed below
- Ally accessibility software providing accessible versions of files to students
- Microsoft Teams Web Conferencing software
- Panopto Recordings Video platform for lecture recordings and videos
- Reading lists integrated with the library
- Turnitin for Originality Checks and submission of word-based files
Weblearn and SITS / Evision (Student Record System)
Weblearn is integrated with SITS to fetch all modules and student module registrations for the academic year. As long as your module is on SITS and listed as running for the academic year, it will automatically appear on Weblearn and registered students will gain access to their module one week before the start of teaching.
