Accounts for new staff
Weblearn accounts are not automatically created for new members of staff instead you need to fill in the request form with the users London Met details.

Note: The request form is for London Met staff use only. All Partnership staff account requests should be made via the Academic Liaison Tutor based in the School.
Once the account has been created the user will receive an email notifying them that their account has been created
Login Problems
Any users encountering login problems after their account has been created should try using FastPass to update their password with the password that was issued when joining, or the last password that was used for the London Met IT account.

If you can’t reset your password using FastPass, use the ‘Click to chat with us’ button on the IT Self Service page to get help via chat between 9am to 5pm on weekdays.

Student Access to Modules
All modules become automatically available to students one week before the start of teaching for each academic period.
Module availability dates 2026/27

| Autumn and Year long modules | Mon 21 September 2026 |
| Spring and Jan start modules | Mon 25 January 2027 |
| Summer modules | Mon 5 April 2027 |
A student must be registered on their modules on e:Vision before they will added to the module on Weblearn. If the modules are not listed in e:Vision, or the modules are incorrect, the student should contact the Student Zone
Note: Assessment only students are not automatically added to modules on Weblearn and can be added manually by the module leader.
Staff Access to Modules
Module teaching staff should add themselves to modules as Instructor by using the Staff Module and Organisation Enrolment Tool.
The tool allows you gain instant access to your modules and course sites, and remove yourself from older modules you no longer require access to.
The Staff Enrol option can be accessed from the ‘Tools’ button on the main Weblearn navigation menu.

New Module Availability to Staff
New modules for each next academic year are available for staff to request from the end of July each year.
Modules must be listed on the student records system (SITS/e:Vision) before they can be set up on Weblearn.
All new modules are set up with the University template.
