Creating Submission Files

When you submit online you must ensure that your file is correctly prepared to avoid submission errors. If you encounter submission issues please make sure you have followed the below steps.

File naming

Your lecturer may have provided specific instructions on what you should name your file when you save it ready for submission. For example, it might be your student ID or something related to the coursework you are submitting – you must make sure you follow your lecturers instruction. To help avoid technical problems with your file, follow the good practice for file naming:

  • Keep the file name as short
  • Avoid using spaces in the name, use capital letters instead (eg. MySubmission)
  • Do not special characters (eg *&^%$”)

Accepted file sizes and formats

If you are required to submit your work in a particular file format you must only submit in that format
