Assessment Overview

All online submission points and information about assessments must be published in the ‘Assessment’ folder of the module as specified in the following documents:

Assessment Folder

Assessment related information and activities must be added to the ‘Assessment’ folder in Ultra modules.

Students should be able to access all information required to successfully complete their assessment in the assessment folder and its assessment component subfolders.

The Assessment folder in modules contains

  • Staff guide for completing the Assessment area a hidden link which provides guidance on how to complete the assessment area.
  • Assessment overview describing all summative and formative assessment for the module
  • What you need to know about assessment is a link to generic assessment information and help pages that cannot be edited by Module Instructors.
  • A subfolder for each assessment component of the module containing assessment details and criteria as well as all online submission points for the assessment component
    • Placeholder for your short introduction to the assessment is a hidden link which links to a Panopto video. You will need to delete this link and add a link to the assessment video
    • Assessment brief which provides the assessment details, instructions and marking criteria

The template contains two example assessment component subfolders.

Create as many assessment component folders as required for the module. Formative assessments can be added in a clearly named folder(s) in this section or in the relevant Weekly Learning Module.

  • Add Due Dates in date format as soon as confirmed on e:Vision

Consider adding additional information that helps students understand the assessment process.
