Multiple Markers for Turnitin Assignments
Turnitin submissions can be filtered by groups set up on Weblearn to distribute student submissions amongst multiple markers. Once a marker has selected a group, they will only see student submissions from within the associated group in the Turnitin Inbox.
The recommended options for creating marking groups on Weblearn are:
Randomly assign groups: automatically distribute all students on a module to a specified number of groups.
Import groups and assign members using Timetable data: import groups and assign students based on their allocated tutor or seminar group.
Import Groups using Timetable Data
Once you have created the groups you will be able to use the Turnitin Groups filter:
- Go to the Turnitin inbox of the assignment
- Select the ‘All Students’ drop down menu and then choose the group you would like to mark.

The inbox will now only show submissions from students in the selected group.
