Managing and Editing Assignments

Edit the Assignment Settings

To access the assignment settings page, click directly onto the link to the assignment on the module content area – it’s the same link that students use to submit.

Click on the ‘Settings’ icon at the top right of the screen

On the settings page you are able to update the ‘Feedback Release’ date and the optional settings.

Quick Steps

The anonymous marking setting cannot be edited after students have started submitted to the assignment.

Edit the Due Date

The Due Date cannot be updated on the Turnitin Assignment settings page. Instead you need to open the Weblearn link ‘Edit’ options.

Click on the three dots to access more options, then select ‘Edit’.

Once your have updated the due date select ‘Submit’

Submit on behalf of a student

Occasionally you may need to submit a file to Turnitin on behalf of a student who was not able to submit themselves.

In the Assignment Inbox either use the search option to locate and select the student, or click on the three dots in the student row and select Upload

On the popup dialogue, confirm you would like to proceed by clicking Continue

Locate and upload the file on your computer and then select Upload and Review.

Quick Steps

It is recommended that the submission title is used to indicate who the file was uploaded by.

Click on ‘Submit to Turnitin‘ to complete the submission process.
